looks liek were gonna stuggle to get tent pegs on the plane!!! is there any locals with afew spare, were gonna need about 20 tops!!

That was my suggestion too, plastic ones. On the other hand, I understand that they don't allow metal tent pegs in a bag inside the plane where you can get to them, but I don't see the problem if they are in a suitcase in the luggage area..
