Sling & I have been fixing this car up for a customer. He has been doing the mechanicals, and I just finished the revamp on the interior. I really dig this car. Enjoy Smiley

I think the muffler is totally fitting for what the car is... totally '80s look! :-)  Better than a stinger or big phat turbo muffler on an otherwise stock engine...Grin

Thanks guys Grin I tried to do an 80's style interior without it being too gaudy, and I think I got it Smiley The carpet was just from a kit, but the seats and panels were from scratch. It also got the protoype Hurst shift boot, before I made one up for AssHull's car. I've done the carpet on the bottom of every set of Cal look panels I have put together, it looks good and it is totally functional- keeps your foot from scuffing up the vinyl.

Yeah, we know the motor/exhaust is the weak link! Before long we'll have him talked into a thick wall 92 motor with QP's Wink

If it was mine, I would totally rock the faded paint! It's as if the car has a story to tell. Although not nearly as iconic, the car reminds me of Dave Rhoads car before the refurb. And I think we can all agree that his looks much better with a fresh coat on it now! So in time, this late looker will get a nice exterior respray as well, and look better than the day it was built.

Even with the "weak link", it is a total hoot to drive. Crank the sunroof back, turn up the tunes, and cruise Cool With only adjusters and a fat sway bar, it does however ride like a brick!

Cool car...has some potential to be a real fun mobile.  Deserves paint, in my opinion.
