When I was 19 I was a total freak for GT2. I did 3 things: Sleep, work, play GT2 Smiley I was unbeatable! Once the PS2 came out, I kinda lost interest.

Porsche has an exclusive deal with Electronic Arts, for crappy games like Need For Speed.  Undecided  Sony asked them a lot to be in Gran Turismo since the first game, but they don't seem to be interested...

But there is RUF in GT5  Wink

I agree EA makes some crappy games but "Porsche Unleashed" from 2000 is one of the best car games ever released IMHO.
That said, I don't think the deal with EA was a very smart move...

My friend pre-ordered the game and we were playing on Nov. 26. He has a steering wheel, shifter, poly bucket seat, pedals and headphone system set up in front of his wall mounted 40-50" tv. All in his small, studio apartment. Young bachelor paradise. Grin The game is quite good and I really like the kart racing. Got to drive a 69 Camaro, Ferrari f40, Fiat 500 and a Escort rally car in the span of a few hours. Fun stuff.

Cheesy yes on the photo mode it's not top. But during the game it's a lot better, you don't see any pixels and less aliasing when everything is moving.
