Glad to see that the package made its long trip across the Atlantic with the contents intact (and a good thing that all of the Dyno Don fans along the way didn't know what was sealed inside Grin).

Dyno got a kick out of signing the "Mad Licker" photo, the compilation from EBI2 is made up of mostly your photos (I think), the Texas Volks Blast flyer is from an event that I helped put together (see http://www.texasvolksblast.com), and the autographed photo of Ron Fleming interviewing Dyno Don is one that I got Dyno to sign and Dean Kirsten had Ron sign (thanks guys!).

Postman Brought me Another Goodie Box I picked up two sets of IDA Manifolds a Pair of Short Scat DW-2 Manifolds and a Pair Of Pre 70 Empi Tall Manifolds  they dont have the Empi Globe like the later Verison but have Empi Cast in to the Carb Flange and the Neat Part Is the Carb flanges sit the same way as the short Manifolds  not the Reverse Pattern.  both pair have never ported, cracked or welded Grin I Need to bead blast the Blue paint off the Empi ones

I had a pair of the Scat manifolds on my car in early mid 70's.   The only thing I didn't like about them was they had SAE American hardware and studs not metric and didn't fit the carbs real well.   Nice find with both sets.  The Scat manifolds were made very well.                         Dave Rhoads

A few days ago I received this, a gift from Trond in Ca. that's a true friend! Grin Smiley Smiley

I decided to go with Empi's 51 EPC as opposed to converted Italian/Spanish, the reason is that they are made as 51's, with the added accuracy of just one machining operation gives is a huge pluss in my book.
Looks like the Chinese could give the Italians a lesson on how to pour aluminum, just check out how crisp they are...  Grin

WOW that is a VERY rare find indeed Shocked I love DCN's and I always wanted one of those kits - I'm digging the way the carbs are "reversed"  Smiley and yes they are "Early" ie before DCNF's were about
The only "non original" part to your kit that I can see is the filters - They are surrpossed to be taller/oval types with a Flat top - The only other kit I ever saw was Dave Mayes (RIP Cry)

Where did you find it Huh Smiley

this is how much I love DCN's Wink
