Picked up a no name sump for a few bucks to go on the buggy engine. I need to clean up a few of the fins but its not cracked.

Is that the VDO one or the cheap no-name sender? I hope it's the VDO one because the cheap one won't last you more than a couple of months. Check the float, the one I got had a hole in it. VDO bruce, made in India though. i do notice the quality of these new VDOs nothing to shout about. |

Didn't receive anything in the mail recently, per say, but I did ship off my engine case to VW Paradise last night for machining... step one for the new build is complete! Good time of year for mail order operations, as it's way too cold here in Lakeview, Oregon to get anything done in the garage. |
