Car is good to go and just booked the ferry tickets. Should I register to the race beforehand? Any recommendation for a hotel/motel (travelling with the family)?
Jyrki

There is supposedly a hostel not to far away and the city of Eskilstuna is just 10 km from the track. Not familiar with their hotels and but here is a site that might help.

Done, thank you! And please reserve 2 x XL t-shirts for me

I`m keeping the Norwegian delegation in the loop on our Norwegian forum and it looks like we will be a nice bunch of people coming. Some will race and some will hang around to show their support. Heck, one guy kindly volunteered to bring a 17 wrench.

One question: is E85 available near by?

We have not decided if we should bring our tent or book hotel at Eskilstuna and I guess the weather will decide when we get there. The plan is to drive from Oslo on Friday morning to be there well in time to get the car checked on Friday. I`m really looking forward to this.

Awesome!!  Grin

Two shirts set aside  Wink

There are gasstations along the motorway when you pass Eskilstuna going to Kjula. Pretty much everyone sell E-85 so it should be no problem to get more if you run out. Also there are some local guys racing, the can show you where to go.

There was a legal streetrace this Saturday (not in Kjula), Patrik with the black fastback had to much power for the track. The old Volvo is also from Turbo Town.

First list of registered drivers is out:

http://www.kjuladragway.com/RKS2010/110608_MO2_2011.htm

Better get your register forms sent in.

You don´t have to have a race car to run. As long as the car is safe you can run, see the rules.

Let me see what I can do  Grin But I can already give you some updates, alot of cars from Denmark are not ready yet
but I know they are working hard to get finished ASAP, though I don't think that the Turbo Town Shootout is on their program right now.

5 days and counting!

Not long now and I did a test drive today just to check if everything is OK. So far so good and I even got time to wash the car.

And I changed the plugs... I like the way they look and I cant remember that the plugs looked the same with the IDA´s  Wink

4 days and counting!

The weather forecast is looking promising for the weekend. Sun on Saturday and partly sunny on Sunday - fingers crossed. They have also updated the list of cars coming to Kjula and it looks like there will be a lot to watch. Great!

After finishing the cage he decided he needed a wing...what better then to buy a fast wing Wink

I have also heard unconfirmed rumours that the Slackers has started working on the famous Losen bus.  Smiley

Will put the finishing touches on the Notch tonight. Had to do some work on the tranny last night.

I know of a certain green mean machine with 1641cc and Turbo  building wheelie bars.  Shocked

My memory is foggy (maybe from too many Hansas Grin), but the pics were shot and beers drank while on a layover in Kristiansand, enroute to Gardermoen from Bergen with the DKL crew. I think we bought food and drink at a grocery store in Bergen for our awesome road trip.

Of course! When someone invite everyone to their local track, a BBQ, music and a party I personally think it is obligatory to turn up. There might even be a chance they will return the favour and visit SCC  Smiley

All packed and ready to go.
