does any of you guys have a DCNF and a NDIX to measure how tall they are? I might have a height challenged engine project in my future Grin

Bugspray is even taller than the Zenith, I'm pretty sure. DCN's and DCNF's are the shortest performance VW carb I know of.

My DCNF 40's are a total of 115mm tall, of which 25mm are usually inside the air filter. I have them assembled on some Scat manifolds which have the flange end up app. 85mm above the 'shelves' in the engine compartment. Have put a 5mm plastic plate between manifolds and carbs.

On the pictures you see an intermediate alu-block of 25mm thickness which is there to get the air filters aligned with the engine compartment. The Scat manifolds are straight, they don't correct the offset of the engine, so this plate was necessary to get the air filters in. Total height of everything from the manifold flange is 213mm.
