i think there were two busses… one double door and one single door. look at the pictures with the sprintstars and the one with the ansens.

Not cal look but in the spirit of the other tribute busses on this thread would be the race shop crew cab and the sierra porsche van.

Here's my 69 original paint Deluxe, I spent last summer driving around Europe in it. Greatest trip of my life and I'd recommend it to everyone

It has a 0.82 4th with a 4.57 R&P hooked up to a 2109cc motor, 44IDF's and an Engle 120

 Cool Cool!

May the rear end needs to be a little bit higher, but I like it.

A couple of guys in my old club, Half A Brain, had similar buses. One in metallic blue, the other in metallic red, both with tinted windows and on five spokes. Your pic is a real blast from the past Danny!

That is cool, especially the size of the rear tyres. The Japanese Look (?!) seems to be for a tubbed rear end, and I'm ok with that!

yup, me too. A Pro street VW sure looks cool! And those Japanese like to go extreme on their builds too ;-)
