Hello hello hello,

It is time to start the final arrangements for the Unlimited Street Europe race in SCC 2011. Before going into those, we would ask the prospective participants to pre-registrater to the race. We would need a minimum of 8 participants to run the class, but the more the merrier!!! Please remember, this is about having fun.

Racers, please add your name to the list:
1. Kalle
2. Jyrki
3. Trond
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Thanks,
Jyrki

It looks like the Unlimited Street Europe will not take place, at least this year. We would need a minimum of 8 participants, and we only have 3  Cry

Well, luckily we have all the traditional SCC classes to run. Maybe we could try this again in 2012?

This is bad news, I was looking forward to the Unlimited Street race at SCC.

I don't know if the idea for this competition was to have only the top racers participating, but if you don't mind "amateurs" entering, I would think there are plenty of Norwegians with street racers that would like to have a go - and by that I mean people with daily drivers that can do 12-13-14 sec runs.

In the Norwegian forum, the only Unlimited Street thread was deleted after questions about rules and the legality of the race, so I think a lot of Norwegians saw the US Europe as something only for the "big guys" and haven't considered it much. It sort of killed the buzz about this new type of racing.

But by how it looks now, even an average run-what-you-brung racer could make top 4 Smiley That should spark some interest among the average racer I would think. So if you want to do the US Europe competition and don't mind having some slower cars entering, I would suggest inviting people in the Norwegian aircooled forum to enter the competition.
