WHAT'S UP WID DA BOOM BOOM???

« on: June 13, 2011, 14:14:25 pm »

For those of us not in SoCal this past weekend, did you do anything to “remember” the people and events taking place? I usually try to do something every year, for fun of course. This year my weekend looked like this:

Friday — drank some extra beers
Saturday — Checked in with that Dave Rosique guy. Drank some extra beers.
Sunday — wrenched on my ’67 for a little bit and made Mexican food for dinner. And drank some extra beers.

Must have been some good mojo in the garage because of being Classic weekend, because I made some big steps in getting a good tune on the car!

Took my 67 out for a cruise late Friday. My son and I went to the Indy twin-275,s at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday night. Last year was my first year to go to the Classic and I really missed not being there this year. Indy race was good at TMS.
