can some on tell me what specifications are necessary for getting torque in a boxer engine,the only thing i know is big pistonsice and long mainfolds.thanks in advance for your replies.

Generally speaking -- given 2 engine of the same size -- the long stroke engine will be a lower rpm engine with more torque and the short stroke engine will be able to turn a higher rpm and make more HP

But Bigger is always better -- and you can't go wrong with any boost engine -- Generally speaking LOL

A friend of mine use to road race and had a max cc limit on his engines -- he had 2 engines -- one, long stroke, was for the tight twisty courses and another for the long striaghts which was a short stroke engine and he was a class champion for several years
