Thanks it took me ages to do the flywheel thanks for the loan of the floater, one step closer. I keep practicing at this welding thing it's made a big difference since I got a Pyrex gas lens and my dad got me 3M speed glass mask I can see, now even electricians can weld now lol

They are really nice welds. What's the benefit to the Pyrex glass lens and speed glass?

With my new mask I can actually see what's happening so that has helped me with the control, as for the Pyrex gas lens I don't understand exactly but it make the gas flow in a better way, I can do the same thing with a standard cup and it weld ok but no way near a good as if use the other they aren't cheep but they work for me

Lovely tig work going on. I managed to distort a v band flange quite easily while welding one a while back. I'm also reading that they need some sort of gasket either copper or fibre to make them seal 100% too. True?

Any updates Andy ?

Just seen your for sale advert and wondered if your build is still progressing?

Or is the engine sale to make way for something bigger  Grin

Thanks

Looks like you are parting this project out, sad to see it happen!  I also understand that priorities can change quickly and hope all is okay for you and those closest to you.
