they are ok, but do look like they are too wide, you will probably be out toward the wings. However, if those sprints are cheap enough, you could get the worst pair re rimmed down to 4 or 4.5?

I remember an old volksworld article where the car ran 5.5s on the front, and it was narrowed to bring them in a bit, so you might want to factor in a few quid to do that as well.

they are 850 euro
i have a 5 cm narrowed beam, but with the csp disks, theres no much difference from original

or i m thinking of putting erco to the back and enkeis on the front
might be cool too ....

cheers, Peter

I was watching SCC 2006 on DVD last night and i spotted a beautiful light green split with 5.5" sprints up front and it looked mega!!
A bit more beefy than the more often seen 4.5", very cool!!!

Go for it  Cool

Here is how it looked like on my 66 before I swaped them with 4,5.
The beam is not narrowed and I have dropped spindle.The tyres are 155/15.

wel my happyness went away today..
the sandblasting was not possible today so i attacked them with a wire brush, after the tires were removed
they are rusted pretty bad: the hole for the pressure valve to inflate the tire is rotten,
the insides whrere the tires is mounted on is rusted pretty bad aso;
i guess i ll have to search for inner tubes  Sad

Hi Ruff that sounds like a pain. I would always get steel wheels blasted, it shouldnt cost much either, and you know exactly what the condition is.

Also, if I remember rightly, there is a casting of line in the metal each side of the valve hole that it would be nice to copy, or save.
