As always, there's lots to do before leaving for Bug Run. I haven't started my engine yet, but if everything goes as planned, I will race Four Play for the first time on Mantorp. There's still a couple of parts for the engine in the mail from the US and Germany, but my hope is that they will arrive in a couple of days. Hopefully the engine will be started during the weekend. Bug Run here we come :-)

If everything goes as planned I am coming also. The engine is started and sonds awesome but it is leaking from the pulley. I have ordered a GB707 tool to put a sand seal on it. Then it is off to JPM:s dyno the day before BR so I have a 2000 km trip as well! Sundsvall-JPM-Mantorp-Sundsvall.

Hope you make it this year Roman, I don't, at least not in my VW. My backproblem is trying to kill me så I'am going in my Audi this year.

Nose down Ass up ...back from paint shop!!!

I'm still in debate (mostly with myself... how's that for schizofrenia!!) as to go or not...

Like Svwerker i'm not going "aircooled" as my bug is hibernating in "project-mode" sadly enough. Cry

Nice to hear Roman!!

Does anyone have any more "inside info" as to who's coming, who's not... It has been awfully quiet on various forums about BR.

Any guys / cars on the "Top Racers" list attending the show perhaps?

Thanks!

Håkan Lundgren is in the US and I don't think he will be back in time for BR and even if he was his car is in pieces for some seroius updates.

If everything goes my way I will be on the strip with my new "JPM superheads". My new car "Oboyburken" will sadly not be ready so the red ragtop will host the new engine. See ya!

Looks like I am running out of time this year also... I am going to Bug Run for sure, but most likely as a passenger in a squareback...
The oval is hung up at the dyno guy, I have no interior and some parts are still in the mail.... time is running out...

There´s 10 of us Finnish racers coming, but I think only 3 of us will race.
Jussi will debute his 51 ragtop-racer, Arto Vatja will try to break his record and Kotten Tallgren will debute his green 67.

See ya!

It feels like the first day at work after a long holiday... Mantorp was as sunny as it used to be when the show and shine was on the grass ;-)
Had a fabulous time without any car this year too, maybe next year it is finished. Met all the usual dudes and a few new guys from Finland, very interesting stuff... fast AND cool guys!

Will post some pictures later...

You're right Mango, the rear oil seal gave up in Charlottenberg.... So it had to spend the weekend there alone lol
