Weigh you & your car at SCC
«
on:
August 09, 2012, 11:23:14 am »
I am planning on bringing some cornerweight scales to SCC to check my cars cornerweights stay as I just set them up today after some big changes to the car.
So I am offering the chance to put your car on the scales with no charge over the weekend to see what Car and driver actually weighs. If you want to let me know in advance post on here,or just come see me preferably friday to arrange when, maybe we can do a few cars together after racing finishes on saturday
cheers richie

I would like to know the weight of my car as well. I know what I weigh, so we don't need to do with and with out driver
Saves time as well!

you do,to make sure the weight is good on all 4 wheels with the driver, and we all want to know how much the driver weighs
Kalle, your welcome,I thought it would help some people out and add something interesting to talk about in the evening

I'm up for that as I am curious how heavy. So would appreciate a go...
My car is now with new cage and I don't expect the local truck weight to be accurate enough :-D

What a great service!
I have arranged with the speaker to announce the driver weights as the weighing progresses... we take the entertainment seriously at SCC!
(The winner will be banned from the food court)

We can do a driver only weigh in down near the startline if you want
could be quite revealing

Nice one Richie.
Might just weigh myself again. The 34 waist is still loose, so fingers crossed.

What a nice offer, unless you've taken on too much already, could you squeeze my car in the ranks also?
I would be happy man... or unhappy, depending on what the scale says

I think i have got this figured out now,I have some long ramps that will lay flat on the ground & should fit perfectly between the scales, and a small pair of ramps for the front,so we should be able to roll each car straight up onto the scales, weigh it,then off the other end and put the next car straight on,enabling us to do alot more if needed
cheers richie
