Nope. It is not Barb Folts. That Is Barb Folts' car in the picture, but not her in that photo. The Barbra seen here in both photos was a AH employee. 100% certain.

Barbara Folts, (Dave's little sister), was much younger. Probably a teenager around this time. They lived a few blocks from me and I'd see her around town alot. Very nice girl. The Barbara in the photos worked in a AH warehouse office with me. We had a few others Barbs working there at the time do her last name escapes me. She was older, maybe early 3o's.

Ed, Are you thinking of Barbara (Barb) Alcott - Olcott ? She and Jere were an item for for a few years and then worked for the VDO distributor on Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. I believe the name of that was North Hollywood Speedometer.
After that I heard she relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The other one that comes to mind is Barbara Moon and as I recall she really filled out a MOON T-Shirt.......

No confusion open my part. I remember both Barbara's you mention. The Barb in the photos also worked at AH. She married Greg, another AH employee. I'm just blanking out on her last name. The confusion on this post surrounds Barb Folts. Her car was used in a AH add, and thru the years, many people think that is her on the photos. I triple guarantee that its not Barb Folts in these pictures.
Sorry that I don't have a pic of Barb Folts. I'll see if Marc B. can dig one up of here and her car. He talks to Dave on a regular basis.

If I remember correctly, Barb Folts worked at a little Taco Shop on Whittier
I remember her as a little heavier than the Barb pictured. I recall making the
drive to the taco shop with Shubee many times.....

Ed, The Greg you mention wouldn't be MC Muller that shipped his wallet to Alaska would it??? Now anyone who reads this one will wonder what we are talking about, so I'll let you share the story........

Boy...we are way off topic here.
MC Muehller was Mitch Layton. Greg was his close friend to came to work at AH around the same time. Mitch worked for me in the mail order division and mistakenly shipped his wallet to alaska, (fell out of his shirt pocket during packing). He got it back a few weeks later...minus the money.
Greg was dating Barb in the photo. She was about 10 years older than him. It lasted a few years. Last I heard he had a Christian book store. I guess a few years with cougar Barb converted him! :-)
Ron...you are right about Barb Folts living in Whittier. Pretty close to Ruby's B4B.
Sorry to all about getting so off topic!!

That light blue early car looks a lot like one of ours. Kevin Brennan owned/built it. His had the same wheels but with buggy bars. So Blue was it's name. Quite a nice car, too.

The black car and the ghia are Oregon.
More detail perhaps? Do you own the cars?
I really like that black car and would like to know more about it.
