Where the small door is located I will be adding a wall to the top and have my enclosed engine room where I will have all of my parts in that area and my sand blaster on the outside near the water heater with the compressor. Tool box, drill press, powder coating cabinet and oven. Later will be adding a two post lift.

Well after all because we have not sold our home this one was sold. But we have picked another lot the next street over but now I will go with the 16 feet garage height instead of the 12 from the prior home. This will help me so that I can add a second story for my collection etc... I will keep everyone posted as soon as we have our present home sold.

Thanks

Doesn't everyone have a set of snow tires on Fuchs?  (yes, those are genuine 4½s on the front!)

This past Friday our '61 Sunroof car finally came home from Greg Brinton's shop.  Still a few issues to work out but it is back on the road.  Christie shot a few photos of the cars in our garage so I thought I'd share them.  The second shot is yours truly inspecting and discovering it is much more difficult to get back on my feet than it use to be.  This is why I do very little of my own work these days.

A couple of more photos.  One is my early Christmas gift to me, a new tool box from Harbor Freight so I can spread my tools out and find things.  Note the Schley BMW Bavaria is not there.  I'd taken it to work and stored it overnight as I needed to clean up some stuff.  That was accomplished and now it also resides in the garage so there are 7.  That may be what you call a full house. My plan at this time is to change out the entire exhaust to an A-1 with two tips exiting out the stock ports.  Something different than I've ever had and it will also provide more ground clearance.  I have a vert deck lid coming for it and will replace the bumper blades with a pair from Wolfsburg West.

The complete exhaust on the car will be for sale (at a very reasonable price) if anyone is interested you can send me a PM.

Well after all looks like we will be able to buy this house with the original garage. The people that wanted to buy the house the deal fell out. So now we have a chance to get it back and move in before February. We as of today have an offer on our home in Tempe I will let everyone posted on what is going to happen.

Thanks

Not my garage.... This belongs to an old engineer/fabricator/restorer dude who's occasionally helps me out with stuff...,
He's had his workshop in this barn for nearly 30 years.... It an amazing/crazy-ass-mess of a place but, of course, he knows where everything is......

Not quite my garage , but my own workspace in work.  The other love of mine is the sp1 Honda but notice the bug bits on the bench Smiley

Nice pic's guys!

Good luck Frenchy, hope it all works out..

John L, looks like you are starting to hoard nice clean VW's!  Grin Grin
Much as I dig your VW's, I get a huge kick out of your "heavy iron" collection.

Here is a picture of the garage as of today. Plus I have the single garage next door with the same epoxy floor done where the split window will be park.

Hi Frenchy
I think most of us are jealous of your garage...but until I get a collection as good and deserving as yours it would look a bit empty at my place.
