That's Bill Schwimmer's car! We found it at Pomona a few years ago. Ask him – he'll tell you the story... Cool

I think it's my '67 next to the green car  (Bob Davis?) in the 2nd to the last pic. The give away is that it looks like it has black trim on it.

Rick, you're right about the black trim. Did you have full U.S. bumpers when you first got in the club? Also, was Bob's green car a ragtop? In the foreground, looks like Ramirez on the left and either Larry Perez or Alex Gonzales next to him. The guy next to the green car could pass for Bob Davis if he isn't. The dark gray car with chromies looks like either Kevan's or Marc Ito's. Wait... Kevan's was a '67 and that looks like an early decklid. So... Marc's?

Hmm... that's either a Bug-In from the late '70s or a Drag Day. Reason: don't see our cars fully displayed showin' the engines.

Help an old guy out here, DEEKS. Jim, it's YOUR pic... I give up.

 Huh

Dude, I changed bumpers so many times.... it doesn't surprise me that it has the full US bumpers on it. I have a set with the proper '67 only over riders.

Not sure if Bob's car had a sunroof.

I'd guess it's Larry Perez because I don't remember Alex ever having his hair that long and he always wore shorts.

I'm also thinking the gray car is Marc as I never remember seeing Kev's car until I saw pictures on The Lounge. I only remember him with his Ghia.

Could that be Steve next to Keke's car and the guy in the orange shorts I think it's Dave Smith.

Looks like McNew's '67 in the 3rd row... or maybe Ernie Barron's??

True on all counts, Rick. BUT... something that really disturbs me; the fact that the gigantic object on the right frame of the pic looks all too much like my huge nose/beak with a moustache.

I'm eskeered.

Nico, where did you find this picture? This road looks the famous Guadalupe Canyon Parkway, which appears in the movie Bullitt, where Steve Mcqueen battles with the black Charger.

Ok to the best of my feeble old memorie:
Bug in 79, spring
light blue oval - Mark Ramirez
red oval - Carl Rossetti
Gray - Mark Ito
Red - don't know
blue oval - Ken White
orange ghia - Willie McKinnley
red ghia, and the rest - don't remember
in the forground:
Mike Sossa
Willie McKinnley
that's all I got fellas.

Good call on the Ghia and Willie, Jim. I do remember his car. I figured that was Marc's gray car, too. Thanks! Great historic photo, as well.

The Mighty Mouse and Boyd & Fink look like some east coast tracks.  Obviously, one is Old Dominion in Manassas.  Another looks almost like Beaver Springs, but it probably isn't.

Don't know where it was taken, but it's probably this road, in the SF area as says the club's jacket.

If you look, there's a row of flags around the cars so I think it's a safe assumption that this is the DKK display for that year. Since it's in our display it should be a safe bet that it is Ernie Baron's car.
