I,ve bought a Holset HX35 with a 12cm2 twin scroll turbine housing .... 0.89AR
I had always intended to run a twin scroll turbo with dual waste gates  but don't know if its worth all the hassle of
Modifying the header for the TS pulse sequence and  the extra pipe work for the dual wastegates

I,ve got a 0.63 AR housing from Tims turbos that isn't twin scroll and not sure which option would be best

Car is a 1400lb lightweight with 2332cc Efi drag race only
Appreciate opinions
Cheers

Hi there

I'm far far from an expert so don't take this as gospel, but I thought a twin scroll header helped improve low down torque, bringing on boost earlier but at the sacrifice of all out power higher up the rev range (boost runs out earlier).
For drag race only, I'm not sure you'd see the benefit of twin pulse/scroll.

I've used this for reference before :

Lots of pages to read inc compressor maps. Not all is relevant but some can apply. Helped me researching Hx40 variations (bought but not fitted yet though, still polishing the damn housing haha)

Hope it helps
Darren

I agree, for drag go for the Tims, the simpler you keep it the better
