Homemade cheese hamburger. Ground prime rib beef with some bacon bits mixed in. Seasoned with salt, pepper & some garlic powder. Fried up in an aged cast iron frying pan. A thick slice of sharp cheddar, fresh lettuce, crisp tomato slice, couple of onions slices & pickles for dressing. Home made cheddar wedges on the side. (Fried in the bacon grease) And a nice ice cold Newcastle to wash it down. For desert, the wife cooked up peach cobbler which will go nice with some Blue Bell vanilla ice cream.  Grin

Grin Grin Grin    Keep it up, Louis!  Nothing beats the old cast iron skillet if you ask me.  A nice pork tenderloin seasoned with  fennel, corriander, white pepper and sea salt, browned in a hot skillet and finished in the oven was last nights feast.  Gotta be carefull not to over-cook, though...145 degrees internal temp, then cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.

Looks like I will be right there with you. Went to the DR. today and weighed in at 230 lbs. Need to drop 15 - 20 lbs looks like. Guess it will be chicken breast, brown rice and light beer for me for the foreseeable future.  Cry
