Homemade cheese hamburger. Ground prime rib beef with some bacon bits mixed in. Seasoned with salt, pepper & some garlic powder. Fried up in an aged cast iron frying pan. A thick slice of sharp cheddar, fresh lettuce, crisp tomato slice, couple of onions slices & pickles for dressing. Home made cheddar wedges on the side. (Fried in the bacon grease) And a nice ice cold Newcastle to wash it down. For desert, the wife cooked up peach cobbler which will go nice with some Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. --louis

Nothing beats the old cast iron skillet if you ask me. A nice pork tenderloin seasoned with fennel, corriander, white pepper and sea salt, browned in a hot skillet and finished in the oven was last nights feast. Gotta be carefull not to over-cook, though...145 degrees internal temp, then cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.

I hate diets!!!!!!! Looks like I will be right there with you. Went to the DR. today and weighed in at 230 lbs. Need to drop 15 - 20 lbs looks like. Guess it will be chicken breast, brown rice and light beer for me for the foreseeable future. --louis
