well I've been talking about it for a while now and its finally going to happen - in a few weeks I am going to pick up my new project car.

A very solid 1966 Beetle - and the best bit is I still get to keep the Manx  Grin

Cool! Nice to hear that the Manx is staying.
But I hope you got that 66 really cheap, it's got the steering wheel on the wrong side!  Grin
Kidding aside, it looks like a nice project. Congratulations.

Thanks for the awsome response guys and your right it is a superb starting point for a Cal Look project - it has had 3 NOS 1/4 panels fitted and it even has the original heater channels with NO repairs  Shocked

I can't wait to get my hands on it - I have quite a few COOL ideas and parts  for this project and i don't think you boys will be disapointed  Wink Smiley

As far as colours go I am still undecided - it WILL be a 70's porsche colour - I am looking at Willow Green OR Bahama Yellow  Huh Huh Huh

What do you think guys Huh Huh Huh

P.S I glad i'm keeping the Manx too Smiley

hey Lee,

i think the willow green is a cool choice, sloping headlight cars always look good in green, it just really seems to work.

if you not joking about that offer to store the manx that would be AWSOME - It won't be for a few weeks yet though  Smiley

And yeah pop round anytime - I am dying to see the oval in the flesh, I've only seen one pic and it looked awsome  Smiley
