Thanks Richie,

I have been watching every race and what a week it has been. Tom Bailey is rocking and if he manage a new 6 second run today he is the first to run 6.xx in every race.

6s every day and managed to destroy the car on the last day just when he was going to increase the boost to see what the car was capable of.

After seeing Hot Rod and their excellent coverage of the event I actually believe you get a better view at home. But then again...no sunburn so count me in.

There are a multitude of different classes,  not just the 6-second headline cars. Last year Mick Wilkes from just by me took his car out and won the Spirit of Drag Week trophy.  He's got a Bedford HA Viva van with a turbo Vauxhall motor and I think runs well into the 11s. He's often at Shakey and the Pod. Go on Richie, take the old cab out for it next year!

Or a fast rental each Smiley

It's street legal, insured, and may only need a new set of tires after the "roadtrip" is done  Grin

If you have a read of this and see what you miss watching on line then realise how much fun it would be to participate Smiley the drive alone would give a lifetimes memories and the racing is a bonus
