I disagree, I think it's perfect as it is. Hard as nails, as you wouldn't be afraid to park it at the supermarket  Wink

It's not got flawless paintwork granted, but if it was mine, I wouldn't paint it

Hey Ron, good move buying that Ghia, must admit it had been playing on my mind since I saw the pics... it was a good deal.

You can't go wrong with a black low-light, love 'em....

..but when they're done well (as I'm sure yours will be), you can do them whatever colour you like...

..being a '56, I'd be tempted to do it the original colour.. did I hear it was black(?)

Nice pics Ron , is that a late pan I see there ? ( ball joint beam's the give away ) . Sorry I didnt make it up at the weekend , think I was being a bit too ambitious , need to balance the carbs and set the timing , what would you set it to , was running 30 degrees advanced on Martins's motor but mine's got a 125 cam with standard rockers on the 041 head's , 26 Degree's ?  Undecided
Anyway the 901 box I got off Alex seems to be fine ( cheers matey ) and the 2007 running well just needs a bit of tweaking , but after my IDa session with the 2190 loner I think this year father Christmas will be getting rather a long list from me  Wink Roll Eyes
As far as I know the old Dann Zouth Klub is defunct , Ive not been very social with the locals of late . There is another local club Spirit of the air , or something like that , don't know much about it but it seems to have more than its fair share of bay windows  Wink maybe we should resurrect the old DZK for old times sake ?
Hows Steve bearing up to the treatment ? I know it knocked the shit out of me by the third week !
I will give you guys a bell before I come up . John sends his best regards too and will come over when he's back from his holiday , hes found a new friend in Westons organic vintage cider  Grin Grin
Keep well Glenn

Glenn, the wheels are original chromed Empi Sprints. They are deeper (the wheel center is more inwards) then the Flat 4 repops.

And here is another Looker (not an early one, sorry) but also very nice
