Nice to meet you Russell.

Was a good day, shame so much waiting thanks to the oil everywhere, Stitch Up and the Tar Babe looked fantastic, good to see Richie after all these years away from the scene, picked up the bits I need, spoke to Cotsweld. Will try and figure out how to post pictures later  Undecided

what a good turn out,we ran another pb for the 1679 motor 14.49 of the trailer again.waited ages for one shot gamblers qualifier ,dailed 14.5 and went 14.63 but the air had gone of a bit(warmer)and no tail wind .dialed 14.6 for first round and went 14.63 backing of for the win .pigged it down before we could run next round but came away with stake money plus a £10 so good day again and then there was tar babe and bernie and all the rest of you chaps ,happy days.just need to win some lotto so we can get some of those super light glass doors.

Tar babe Vs Stitch up

and Jo's best run of the weekend, we figured its time for burnouts as its just spinning the tyres and upsetting the car

Lee, that would have been a good pair you and me 11.82 and 11.69 at 113.5/116..... maybe next time, I also run a 11.86 at 133.55 and 11.73 at 116.6, so we would have been very close

cheers

It was a fantastic weekend - we had our first time out with our street '67 with the little (1641) motor and squeezed a 16.9 out of it. The track staff were great and the atmosphere was brilliant. Full marks to everyone involved!

Great seeing so many cool cars there,in particular for me pushing the Tar Babe through the fire up lane was a bit of a 'pinch me' moment.

Did anyone get a shot of Tar Babe running against Daz Chandlers Nova? Although the Nova took the win (its a 9-second car on a good day), as startlines go, it was an amazing sight, straight out of the 70's. Would love to see one. Maybe have to wait for the mags to come out I bet Julian got one or two....
