Good dMorning Guys,

Just a quick question here, can the JPM 230 heads run all stock tins. When i say stock tins i mean all of them including the bits to run the thermostat.

Great! i am also wondering if the 4inch bore heads will fit under the tin. Neil i know that your engine is a 94mm bore engine, very curious about these heads.

Hello Bad Bug,

I have built the very first 78 x 4" with JPM heads i guess, had the second  set of 4" heads (after Roman Anders) out of the mold from Johannes,i must say my heads are slightly different then he sells them,i had 50 x 39 valves in them.

My engine has been together since 2005,i did sell my autocraftheads in 2008/2009 and fitted the MS 230 heads in 2008 or 2009 i guess.(times fly Roll Eyes not sure about the exact date; )

I took my engine apart last summer for the first time since 2005,can post pics if you want later .

Engine made 280Hp with 50mmIDA

I had the engine on my dyno at one day to test with the 62 Geers-terminators,but it only made 291Hp,and it ran horrible.Went back to the 50Ida 's and finally picked up some lost power over the years by fitting the WASP &  raptor vents,as the car still went 11.00 after 11 years of abuse...

best time in Fast Scrap was 10.78@815kg at startline.(gearing was never up to the engine,it was originally geared for a 1776cc engine.)
Now it's time to built some "real power",so i can Retire "fast scrap"  Wink As it's not build to go any faster, can't keep the wheels down  Grin

Must say i've always ran on E-85 with my engine.

Wow! Well i have 48mm Dellortos to try with this engine if i build it. I intend to drive the car daily as it's my only ride at the moment. LGK, ywe please send all photos of this engine as i am very much interested.

Were you using stock gears on this engine, also what compression ratio was used, and finally what size exhaust system? Can you also say at what RPM did you do the 280HP and was this power made at the wheels.

Steve,

Did you have any trouble running E85 through your IDAs?  Any issues running out of fuel?

The threads I've read on ultimate suggest fuel starvation even with enlarge bowls.  I've been on the fence about cutting my MS230s and upping the compression due to this fact, and have been leaning a little more toward a turbo EFI with E85.

If this is on the table, why would you go any other way?
