Yeah that looks like a cracking deal! I see a few people have 'enquired' on the other cal look forum!

Dom, the seller, seems like a really nice guy too, I met him at the Classic this year  Smiley

In all seriousness, how much would it cost to import something like this from the US to the UK?

It's $6000, so if we say £3000 (it's roughly $2 to the £) I know there is the 17.5% VAT which takes it to £3525. How much does shipping cost, and do you add VAT before or after shipping costs?

I think shipping will be about £800 - £1200, import duty is £50 and then the VAT is on top, unlless you can get him to do you a receipt with 'SAMPLE' written on it Grin

Shipping is $700 for a bug from Long beach, then Vat including price of car and shippping costs, etc

Usually about £800 total inc shipping,cheers richie,uk

I heard this rumour also that its coming over the Atlantic.

Keith has got a lot to answer for. Firstly creating the Cal-look book I had my order in before it came out. ;)ss

Secondly for creating Keith Seume's / Cal-Look.com's World Famous Cal-Look Forum. Where the buyer saw the sale

His heads up post on the lounge helped the buyer realise she did the right thing.

I'm not the buyer Wink

Heather ''Powder Puff'' Christie is the new owner Grin  Her first book was the Shirley Muldowney story  Shocked

Here's to all the brothers and sisters of the cal-look
