Still not been to the Retro Show allthough it surely looks good. My kind of cars there.
That coach is a Bedford OB I will tell you (and I would wouldn´t I :-)  )
It was for sale for ages, something like 120k.
But has a very posh interior. Did you look inside?
Nice Hillman Avenger and Datsun Wagon.

Yep would appeal to you, no to busy on track either

That coach had a Iveco turbo diesel in it from What Scooter Joe told me and would cruise along at 80mph all day long so really nice thing to have, but not at that money!!! No didn't see inside it

cheers Rihie

Took my 63 to a local show Sunday in Wimborne. Vdub at the pub. First time my son went out in the bug and he loved it. Only went to have a look round but Charlie had other ideas and entered it in the show and shine 😀

On a similar theme to Neil, I did the school run in the 63 yesterday. Finally having the car at my home address and not stored somewhere else I have already done more miles in July than I did for the whole year last year  Roll Eyes

Rolled mine out into the winter sun for the first time in 4 years.
A long way to go yet, lots to do still, but it still made me smile.

To the MOT station for the first time in over 3 years, as it has been off the road.
It passed.
So now I can enjoy it again Smiley

Nice looking car Jo, I recognise it for some reason? What's the spec?

It used to belong to Peter Christie, had fake BRMs on then, he sold it to Kev D and I bought it from him about 5 years ago.

When we got it we swapped it out to Porsche pattern brakes, fitted some drop spindles & a new beam as it was not good, then fitted koni red shocks all round and a few other little mods Richie does to improve cars like this.

I built the 2276 IDA engine myself for my previous 71 "late looker " and kept it when I sold that to go into this, cogbox built me a close 1st to 3rd ratio box with stock 4th. that's about it

Here's the link to the '71 build, the engine info is here.

Went to the breakfast club at Shelsley Walsh hill climb this morning. There were lots of different cars there, Ferrari 512, Lotus Elan, a couple of Peugeot 205 Gti's, various Westfield and Caterhams, lots of Morgan's etc.
Good cooked breakfast, beautiful scenery and an interesting variety of machinery.

Local dinner was having a Christmas Eve classic car meet, so we took the opportunity to give the red cabrio a run out and let our new dog Max (that we just adopted from a rescue centre) enjoy the wind in his face and meet some new people.
