yep it's another 600. I bought it last year from the USA and has a Art Morrison tube frame.
Art runs a well know American car repalacememt chassis business but think this is the first fiat and it was done ten years ago. The original plan from the guy that commissioned the chassis was to run a Subaru turbo motor and vw based box. This has been junked and I will be transferring the close ratio box and 2276 Ida motor I have. Long term plans I have are to replace this with a turbo motor with EFI after getting used to the car.
Front end is vw ball joint and rear needs finishing and will obviously be narrowed vw. I have most of the bits, axles, gauges, a variety of wildwood componants, seats etc etc. and I am currently collecting the rest of the items I need.
Plan is to get it over from my long term storage at the end of the summer and out next year.

Nope, not what I meant  Does however mean you've got way bigger balls driving your car without them. We did have a pm about you fitting some in future though if I remember correctly. Your car is the reason I was looking for a fiat. 10s on street tires in a 78" wheelbase car is something else and have total respect for the car and your driving skills. If you remember I did offer you a couple of panels FOC but they weren't what you were looking for as I would like to see it back driving where it belongs. Regards Ron |

Wow..! Here in the US, Art Moorison is well-known in V8 circles... https://www.artmorrison.com/homepage2.phpEven though they don't typically do VW stuff, and this is likely their first Fiat, Definitely not their first rodeo.. If you wanted some pics of how to do it right, this would definitely be a good place to start! Let's see how these guys did that chassis! |

Did pick this up at the weekend to mount the chassis to. Should make finishing off things a bit easier on the back !
