Thanks, Fabian... once again; GREAT lookin' car. Love the bumper rubber, too. Everyone's computer screens show colors differently... is that Kansas or Savanna Beige. Hard to tell with the varied lighting. In some pics, it almost looks Lotus White.

The car had been repaint 3 years ago, except the roof.
The next job is to put the engine I've buy 3 weeks ago in the car. (Do you see the Porsche Fan on the workbench...  Roll Eyes )

I wait for some parts. I still have some finishing to do on it. That's very friendly to propose your help! And you know, if you need help for your engine in the Fastback, I'm ready to give you an hand! I'm a barbarian, but generally it works  Grin

Do you remember how the engine looks when you come at my garage for the walifornia tour  Grin

I'd like to see that color in person... don't know that I have, yet. Thanks for the information on it. Yeah... saw the Porsche style fan in the background. Looks pretty cool. Outta be sweet when it's all back together.

Hi, I noticed someone posted my car under "wanted" in the classifieds (you wish  Grin)
http://cal-look.no/lounge/index.php/topic,5741.0.html
Thank you for the nice comments  Smiley The 52 zwitter is not a cal-look by the book I think, but more a fifties looker built as it could have been in the late fifties.
The car was already customized in 58, but not with these wheels and lowered suspension. Paint is the same as applied in 58 except the fenders, in a non VW colour. Next step is building a hot 36 HP engine, not very cal look either? More info on the build up here: http://52zwitter.blogspot.com/
Pictures showing my zwitter on the first testride on the road earlier this summer, together with my friends 56 oval.

Opinions differ, I think this car is right up there with the coolest CAL-lookers in Scandinavia!  Grin
