Thanks guys, I have a new "winter wheel" set up I am going to run and I am going to try out some T bars.

Love the Gas burners

T bars will change the Look

Heres my 66....
Love this car too. Wheels, color, stance, it gets it all.

I have to wonder how long you'll keep the oil in that motor wih the filter like that.  Super nice car!, but that filter has to be relocated.

Cheers, there's more clearance than it looks it's no lower than the traction bar, but the rear end does need lifted a bit before I get accused of building a resto-cal   Shocked , another job for winter  Wink

Nice car, Dez.

Glenn, that's your Ghia, yes?

Wasn't it in D.K.K.?

Here's a '67 sedan that I've driven before.

No. It's late, I'm tired, and I wrote that I've driven the car before. Sorry for the confusion, Fabian. I like my steel wheels... they're staying on there for a very long time.

I like that a lot!  The stance looks perfect!   Wink

Did you adjust the rear or is that just "high mileage stock"?  Looks killer.

I haven't taken any pics of my car in awhile... so, here:

Took the hubcaps off and decided to paint the lug bolts semi-gloss black. I rather like it... however, my girlfriend; not-so-much. Next time I take the car out, I'll meet her halfway; her side will get the caps and mine; none.

Seriously.

 Grin

Thanks, you guys. Just remembered a great story regarding my wheels:

I was at the recent Bug-O-Rama. Two 356 owners approached me and asked where the owner was (referring to my car). I told 'em it was mine. They asked me where I had the wheels painted. I tried to muster a straight face and said, "No one, just me... with a rattle can." We all laughed then they said, "No, really... where'd you get the color and finish? It's right on and doesn't look overly restored like most of the 356 cars that we see." I had to walk them through the entire de-chroming process for the wheels. Afterwards, they wanted to know which paint and primers I used.

Thought that was pretty cool and a compliment, coming from Porsche owners. I hauled off and grinned, for the remainder of the event.

I had a long drive before taking the car apart(as usual) before the winter. Part because it was a very nice late september day, and part because I wanted to see if the ercoīs I bought from a friend really were any good on the street. Just driving around the countryside for a whole afternoon. Awesome...

According so a very small handful of trolls, I don't.

JS, is your engine a 6v or do you have a Porsche (smaller) 12v generator? Either way, really dig the way your engine looks... all business and no bling. VERY proper.

Might be a good idea to have more detailed information on the hole upset of the car, wheels, tyres, color or color code & engine.

Nothing wrong with that. Very cool. Thanks for the reply... glad to see that I'm not the only one who believes in 6V high performance engines.

Glad you like it, got the first version installed in 2007 and made I it 6v because people said "itīll never work". Made a 12.65/104,5mph at SCC this year in itīs third incarnation.
I have now proven my point and will go on with a new version of the same engine with a JPM cam and lifters, new case, magneto ignition and some other small changes.
Oh, and a 12v conversion.  Cheesy

Very cool story, JS. Thanks for sharing. I love it when people say, "It'll never work." Great to know that a few of us still defy that age old saying.
