It is a hair too low in the back for traditional cal look, but it still looks great.

I know what you mean. I knew that would be the consensus on the rear but now i like it and it's just goin have to do. I really want to keep the car traditional cal look but it's fine like it is and it's just my daily driver. I'm not trying to get in a car club or anything. I'll probably upset the majority in here if i keep posting pictures of it but here goes anyway...  (BTW new exhaust coming soon)(Big motor??)

I've seen more cars that were as low as your's on this forum without complaints, so don't bother.

Charlie, the license plate frame is great! Also, it's refreshing to see body coded fender beading. Don't worry about posting pics of your car. It's much more fitting to see a Cal Look VW image on the Cal Look forum. Keep up the good work. You still have the '66 convertible, yes?

Here's mine . . .

I would like to have it another inch or so lower in front, but the adjusters are already maxed. On the plus side, nothing rubs . . . EVER!

Thanks Rick!
Those stickers are the ones I had for my '67 and of course, they never went on it. They have been on my Ghia for over fifteen years now!

Chris, great to see your car again. I dig the factory look of it all. The black exhaust is perfect, too. One mean lookin' car that means business.

Chuck, The new car is looking good!

Funny thing was, I ran across some old photos today of you and the green car waiting in the staging lanes with Troy at Vegas.  I have to ask, how RED was that light in your run with Troy?  If it was green, then you sure strapped a hole shot on him with a major wheelie, LOL.  Fun times.

Mark, I was actually quite disappointed that the rear buggy bar didn't fit anymore with the new dual QP mufflers. But thank you! Smiley

let's take a look together soon to get that burnout-bar mounted on the rear!
there has to be a way to construct something for that..
