Mark, I was actually quite disappointed that the rear buggy bar didn't fit anymore with the new dual QP mufflers. But thank you! Smiley

I realize that you really like it, Died, but just for kicks... pull the front t-bars and see if you like it. That's the beautiful aspect of these Cal Lookers; easy to quickly change up the look and overall vibe of the car. I really dig Tiger's blue '62 with no bumpers and just the grommets. I ran my '67 like that a couple of times. If you're not feeling it... change it up again.

Volkswagen Blue is usually much darker than that picture suggests. Either the hue is slightly tweaked (camera an/or internet) or the paint got mixed a trifle lighter. Car looks great, nonetheless.

Must be my camera not showing the colour properly.  On the borders between the new paint (everywhere except the dash) and the old paint it's impossible to spot the difference.    BTW, thanks Fred

Zach - are you sure it was a 68 colour?  I see cobalt blue, but not VW Blue.

Ash : VW blue suppose to be one year colour ('67 ) but yes it was also used on a view model at '68, really not much like in '67.

Fred : yeah you're right, VW blue looks ussually darker ...
My VW blue '67 before it turns to a gasser ...
