Yep, the 1776cc is still there. To be honest I hardly do anything to it due to time but was good to get it out for an hour today.

For the people who can't seem to get their cars out enough, what is the main reason for that? Can't drive it on the highway due to overheating? No A/C? Wife says, NO! ? No seat belts for the kids in the back? I'm just curious Wink

Mine needs the motor building. That'll need the case machining. Then the gearbox has a bit of a whine so I could do with changing that. The clutch cable in the tunnel has broken a spot weld free so I need to fix that too. Once that's all done I need to MOT and insure it, and the paint needs cutting back and waxing. It's more the time than the money - with a 7-month old taking up any time that isn't used on school work or the building work at home I just don't get chance to get in the garage to get anything worthwhile done.

Oh, and Lee, I forgot to say how much I love your '63! I really liked it with the Centerlines tho - at the time it seemed so unusual to see them on a UK car.

Thanks Neil  Wink
The centrelines (CMS) are on the oval now for the race wheels. The wheels I got from Mike Pye, they were originally going to be fitted to his oval.
The 63 needs a few bits of paint doing now, but has been painted well over 10 years.

Finding someone who'll weld magnesium is the key. I sacrificed a second fan shroud to make this one. I also shaved off the factory genorator cradle and filled in the air hole.

Ready cool notch with some interesting mods.  Love the wheels and the subtle changes to the fan etc.  Wish I'd not sold mine when I left the UK...also red....
