Very nice
Amazing how bumpers change the look of a car so much!
What's your plans, I see you are selling the engine and box?
Lee
Thanks Lee. 😎
Yeah, the bumpers really change the look.
Plans are to drive the car, lots. I have a 1600sp and stock long axle gearbox to go in as soon as the 2054cc and short axle box sell. Further down the line a nice twin carb'd 1776cc and a 5 speed box would be cool. But the main thing is to use it and enjoy it.
I have a set of stock wheels and heaters for the long UK winter. 😂
Did you own a black 67 years ago also?

US-spec '67's always look good with Euro bumpers. Don't know why, they just do! Numberplate isn't far from Richie Webb's 10 second nitrous car if I remember right. Is yours originally a UK car?
I'll have to find some pics of Richie Webbs cab. 😎
Mine was originally a U.S. car. Imported by Pete Morley about 3 years ago I believe.

Its actually his '67 sedan i meant - the "how much money to run 10's in a street car" one.
http://cal-look.no/lounge/index.php/topic,18831.0.html
I looked up the number and its YTA856E, but its an original UK car, which is why i wondered if yours was too. Hadn't spotted yours is LHD though!

Going to camp out at Fontana this weekend, go to the 'Just Crusin's' thing at Burger Town USA in Ontario (got to back at the speedway by 8pm though before the gates are locked) and probably put the Ghia into car show at the Bug-in-- -- Hope to get a better picture somewhere along the way...

I had a laptop and an external hard drive die, so I lost virtually every digital photo of my race car. I now back stuff up to dropbox instead, and the photos of my son get printed every month using a free photos app.
I've just spent four days changing the engine and gearbox in my car and set my cheapy go-pro type camera to take a photo every minute. Tried to download them to my laptop and deleted the lot...

Duck, I do like that! I had a '71 so I'm quite fond of those 2-year-only taillights! U.S. spec is IRS but that's a lot of Sprintstar to fit under stock arches!

Cheers, I love it. The 5.5" et6 Sprints in the pic do go under the arches with a 165 F560 but too close on the (nice, original) arches. Been looking into narrowing the trailing arms but this will be long term when I find a pair of arms to modify. Short term - trying to put a pair of et26 5.5" together as they fit straight on.
Thanks

Mine was a European swingaxle model, and ran MWS 8-spokes with 165 Avon Turbosteel tyres - they had a nice bulged sidewall but only a couple of mm clearance! Narrowed arms would be the way to go.

Been looking into it and got a mate lined up to do them when I find a donor pair of arms, a few people in the states will supply them ready done but will be a small fortune by the time they get to the uk
