That's right, SCC has moved weekend to the weekend before, that is 15-16-17 August.
We are terrible sorry for any unconvinced this could cause.

If everything goes as planed we will show upp with five cars from the östersund area(north sweden). This year i drove alone for 680 km with the car on a trailer(the berryl green gasser looker) and didnt get to drive because the track officals found an oil leak that doesnt exist, but what the heck i had a great wekend anyway. I got a flat on the trailer on the way home by the way and no spare. This year i hopefully have the right engine in the car and the gasser theme will be more developed.

Well as its on the SCC event site now I think the fun can begin,
So Stian are you going to leave the sissy sticks at home and come play properly??
Hakan, you up for some real springplate floorpan racing?? no bars, just driving skills
Roar, you going to come play as well?
Anymore that i dont know about?
if i am going to drag my stuff all that way I want to enjoy myself
I have already spoken to some others that are interested here in the england, and mainland europe,we will try to organise it so anyone travelling up can travel together,it will help the journey seem shorter
And for you real no chrome,70s cal look fans I am bringing Dave Rhoads with me,so if you want to know what it was really like back in the 70s Cal look era,get your questions ready
Updates to follow
cheers richie,uk

A dream, you could not have put it better Diederick!
I just came back from a SCC meeting tonight, and boy am I optimistic, we have have NEVER had this much going on. Stickers banners posters dashplaque's... exciting stuff!
And Richie, I am quite sure the local boys will rise to the challenge... but about those sissy sticks I'm not so sure... keep heckling them and you will get out that mean viking deep inside...
I cant wait... showcars, wheelies, bonfires, VW's, the legendary Gardermoen track, friends and pine forests... mix it all up an you get the most refreshing and different meeting on the European calendar.... the fun only last a few days... the stories that will be with you for life...

Send me a PM Richie on who you want to see on the track, and I will help you with the persuasion...
There was a lot of talk about "next year" in 2007. And I think you bringing your crowd pleaser over will get them out of their TV chairs... I will call a couple of surprise turbo bugs for you... that may or may not actually be able the magic 10 sec barrier...
It will be so fun to hear what Rhoads has to say about our nostalgic lookers... and I bet both he and his son will like our tiny fjords...
Welcome VW fans!!
