Congrats, Jim! I know the feeling...ours is almost over.
I hate to agree, but as far as CRAP American light beers go, I can live with Coors Light if I have to. It helps to squeeze in a little lemon.

The few I've listed here are my staples... aside from Newcastle (which my wife preferred....until a few weeks ago, when we found out we'll be parents next year) and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Oh boy, another Ratto in this world.
Congratulations Jim
thanks pal,
Congrats Jim! How long before you will have the lil one out there wrenching on the '67 with you?

I like the German Krombacher beer. I was snowboarding in Oberhausen(indoor) with some mates from Uni once and got pretty bored after just a few runs, so went to the bar and drank 2 large pulls of Krombacher. That Krombacher beer really made my day. Had much more fun snowboarding after I had 2 of those...

When I was in Germany many years ago the beer of choice was Henninger. Anybody like that today. I used to be able to buy it locally, but haven't been able to find it for a while.

Mhhh beer
In Spain, San miguel.
it's funny San Miguel is always mentioned as a good spanish beer, I would choose nearly every other spanish beer over San Miguel, for example Estrella Damm, Mahou Clįsica, Voll Damm, Bock Damm, AK Damm, Alhambra, Estrella Galicia, Cruzcampo, Moritz or Xibeca (this one is very practical, it comes in 1 liter bottles
)

Congratulations Jim!
I mainly drink lagers - Stella (gives me a monster 24hour headache, but I like the taste!), Carlsberg, Heineken, Carling, anything like that. One of our local pubs has Miller on draft, which I do like, and doesn't seem to make me p*ss like a horse for the rest of the night!
San Miguel is on tap at another local pub, so I'll have a pint of that every now and again.
Last time I had Duvel I was out in Antwerp when I was working at the Opel plant for a week - I overdid it a bit and spent most of the night and next morning in the plant being violently ill...
Now, how about Kopparberg pear cider, that's become my drink of choice at home! Just like drinking fizzy fruit juice!
