yep it has been featured in hotvw's and bam! it was for sale on the samba... it sure is a nice car, but at that price... but we allready elaborated on the subject. and since it is not sold allready

Agreed. Its all off the shelf stuff too. I bet you could build it with a real GT steering wheel, real burners, real early Berg shifter, ect for that money.

The problem we have in the UK is that it's not just a case of altering the car generally speaking, it's more a case of cutting it up and rebuilding it first and before you've got to any of the accessories you can easily burn that money in body and paint alone, this makes a California car appealing. For the accessories along the lines of those you mentioned among others you have better swapmeets too, infact you guys have it easy! Whilst you might be able to build that there it would be a tougher prospect here. Not impossible, but certainly tougher.

That car is pretty cool. You european guys have it easy because you just open your checkbook and bring all of the U.S cars over there for cheap, which means you are not really vw enthusiasts
