You are thinking of Dave Cormack's oval... it was Polar Silver.

It is bizarre, Blogger (the blog software we use for the club blog) - won't allow people to embed images.

This is Pete Morley's oval rag, recently sold I believe and Olaf you're correct Pete came over with the club to Bug In

Here is a shot taken at Searspoint in Sonoma, Calif. the car was just starting to hook up too just as the DRKC final season was wrapping up.

Running the original style Brick red interior with tan carpet. Have fun with the project Berger.

thanks, glad you liked the car  Grin, was 3 years in the making, got sold to a guy in scotland (Hamish) he didnt want the motor, box or any of the other nice bits ie shifter harnesses etc...so it is going in the new one which is a 60 looker bought off of oldbug.com mounted up to a pro drag box with a quaife.  the new car is currently on genuine et mags which may change as i have several sets of wheels to chose from, burners pro-welds sprints and fuchs...  i am currently building a 65 cal look ghia also which is in the paint shop at the moment and is being painted diamond grey it has a set of 356b brakes going on it race trim seats harnesses , cage and 2165 motor fitted with 48's and close ratio box....  i have a 56 rust free oval which may end up stratos silver again and a 63 rhd which has been painted stratos silver as well but the paint is crap!!!  i will try and sort out some more photos for you if you want
