No doubt some of you are wondering where this car went,

I bought this car off Steve and Adelle late last year and shipped it down here to NZ. The plan is a 2.7l (84 x 101.6) pauter turbo engine (Marty Staggs is building it), Bus box (Dave Folts) and the same goal, run a single digit. The car really exceeded all my expectations, a real credit to the previous owners !! The border inspectors were drooling when I went to pick the car up !!

Outside of the engine and box, I need to change the seating, Im 6'5", so I can get in the car but am too wide across the shoulders to get into the cage, and my head is only a cm or two off the bars in the roof. So the easy solution would be to get rid of the seats and floor mount a couple of kirkeys, but... I dont feel like we would be doing the car justice, so we have decided to cut out the seat pans in the hope that dropping them down 6" will get me fitting between the bars, then remake the seat bases to be as close to the original seats as we can.

Ill update this as we make progress...

Header starting to be made.

Shiney bits !!

Been very slowly chipping away at it... Hopefully make it to the track this season.

Had to change the cage pretty extensively, I now fit which is a bonus.
