My old '62 Bug.... Cool
Should have Kept The Black Plates on the Car??

I still have them. Grin
you cant put them back on now?  Cailf DMV  only allows  the YOM (Year of Manufacture Plates are Limited to the Yellow 56 to 62 Plates )  The Black Plates Came out in 63 and used till Aug,69 The Black Plates  Are Not Related to YOM DMV Rules, You can Put them on but it wont be Legal .
WRONG..Texas Mud on your americans again?..July 1 2009 you can put them on your car.Conan signed the bill.http://www.totalcapitol.com/?bill_id=6072
Thanks For the website Now I Can Put My NOS Black Plates On My 67 and get rid of the bent up ones

Nope No Black Plates in Texas But I Still have my 67 Bug and my 67 Nova  with Calif Black Plates and I used my Sisters House for a Mailing Address she sends me the Renewal notice once a year both cars are insured in Calif to, I did not want to Give up the Original Plates to the Cars

Sarge, you're car is awesome, but I have to say, I've always thought essentially stock looking '67s running 5.5" chromies with nipple hub caps look great!  A simple, clean looking car, stock suspension, stock to mild engine, riding on wider rims/tires.  Cool! Cool

Sarge, you sure are learning some nice picture taking skills. Car looks great. Do your neighbors give you funny looks for setting a ladder up in a driveway next to your car. Grin

I like the chromies too. I think there is a better pic of his car on the centerlines on the samba though.
