JMR2.0 Chassis Oval Drag Race Car:

After much consideration I’ve decided to step away from drag racing and finishing the recommissioned rebuild of the iconic John. Maher 1957 VW Oval Chassis car.

So much to list parts wise but here’s the key features of the car and set up that is for sale (listed below in the comments).

- Full tube chassis rated for a 8.50 tag (currently out of date) - chassis upgrades by David at McCallan Automotive.
- 1957 oval body with flip front, removable doors, wings and spoiler, windows and side scope.
- Fresh paint and bodywork repairs carried out by Bruce at WRP paint & restoration.
- New design (approved by John himself) and wrap lively of the JMR2.0.
- All Ali panel powder coated and fitted with dzus fittings.
- Racetech race seat (new seat cover installed) with new TRS harness (for HANS device).
- All new Autometer gauges, with new dash.
- Strange strut suspension and front disc brakes (fitted with wheel speed sensor).
- New GAZ dual adjustable coilovers with new h/d ladder bars.
- Rear Wilwood disc brakes.
- New stage brake.
- New line lock.
- Full clutch management system.
- All 4 corner travel sensors.
- Dave Folts Axles (with spare set of 5” axles).
- Omp race pedal set.
- Lifeline fire extinguisher system (all new lines and fittings) - Tank needs recharging).
- Weld racing front wheels with wide 5 rears.
- New Hoosier tyres.
- Wheelie bars and chute mount and shroud red vw chute.
- Chute release handle with air assist.
- Dry sump and sealed cover with temp gauge and heater element.
- Cartek kill switch system with 2 remote buttons.
- Jaz fuel tank with billet screw cap.
- Oderssey battery.

Note: this chassis can be configured with ether a type 1 or type 2 box (current configuration) with options to use a vw shifter, vertigate.

Car is built to a very good standard with lot of  top quality and level components.

Note: car will be sold as a rolling chassis minus the gearbox.

Fuel system and turbo stuff will be sold as an additional option depending on the buyers preference. Ie running n/a carb motor etc.
