Thank you very much, speedwell. I really like all of the wheels in this order: 1. Torker 2. Black 356 3. rader (dark grey, not gold ) Very tough decision. What does everyone think??

Leave the Erco´s on, but get two 4,5"´s for the front without the bubble.

Ercos for the strip, Torkers for the street... But then I'm biased!

Looks Good With Torkers for the Street and Erco's for the Strip Everybody has BRM's they are already over played on cars

Some experimenting with black 356 steels could be interesting. Otherwise the ERCO's suit that car real well.

So, 6 votes for ercos. 2 for the black 356 wheels (dare to be different pick, very tempting ) and 2 for the torkers/ercos. I would love to keep the ercos and buy other wheels. I would have to ask a friend to store them since I do not have space. This car has only seen the strip 4 times since 2004. Thanks for the help guys. I've got some thinking to do.

I would have to agree with JS, leave the erco`s but swap the front rims for some Pie Pans without the bubble. If this isn`t an option I would go for Technomagnesium 356 rims...

same here, keep the ercos and replace the bubble ones. ercos are one of the quintessential cal look wheels to me, form follows function, simple and beautiful.

Now count the voices, check which wheel wins, and then choose a different one. The wheel that wins is probably the one that people want and which will be popular in the nearest future and consequently, after a while, will be considered “uncool” because to many people have them. My advice – do what you want I would choose torquers

Looks good with Rader, the originals of course Ciao Mauro

5x130 American Racing mag D spokes Torqs, or the aluminum ones narrowed. Then early Heart fuchs 6 and 4.5s polished and painted for the weekends, and 5x130 Ercos for the strip. Pull out the 7r Fuch wheels for the Classic with 5.5s up front All running vintage style rubber. Christmas is coming.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually planned on trading my bubble fronts to a friend who wanted them and he was going to buy me a set of standard 4.5s. I will most likely buy the torkers, but I need to save some cash first. I will keep the ercos for track duty if I can.
Has anyone ever done a e.t. test comparing ercos and "heavy" aluminum wheels?? Will I be able to feel the difference on the street??
Pat, I prefer wide 5 wheels, but do like the list you got there. Sorry, no 4.5s and 6s, way too common. 5.5s at all corners sounds good. Traditional!

I usually dont like spyders on early cars, but that looks good! Since the EMPI versions are prone to cracking, try and locate a set of magnesium American racing wheels like the one Ive got
