Typically, an "old school cal-look" car doesn't have add-ons. It has upgrades.

Eye lids are a good one but I'm suprised that no one mentioned the Hemoroid (Helrod) Helper. That's one item that I love to hate!

At SCC, me and my good friend Jalle was driving his cool ī64 panel to the nearby MacDonalds to grab a bite. When we pulled in I noticed a nice 60īs bug parked outside, it had "the look" and i said to my friend "That looks like a car thatīs by "the book"". We pulled in and as we came around and saw the front of the car it had LOUVERED eyebrows!!! I had to hold on to the dash handlebar to keep myself upright! Cheesy

It's been mentioned here before, but it really deserves yet another mentioning, because whenever I see it, I feel like strangling the car's owner. That horrenous, idiotic, crappy, dumb-ass, Taiwan, morone "Cal-Look" badge must be the most hated one of all times. Why?

1: It adds CHROME
2: It adds CHROME, taste it, CHROME being ADDED to your cal-looker.
3: It adds CHROME, but, it spells Cal-Look
4: Besides from adding CHROME it's a crappy piece, bad made, simple as that.
5: If a car is cal-look one shouldn't have to "say" it by adding a sign spelling "Cal-look", and why the hell would one add chrome to a dechromed car?

Ok, so my own car isn't dechromed, but that's just because i haven't had the heart to repaint it, (yet) given it's beautiful patina. So, it might not be a true cal-looker in the right sense of the word, but at least no chrome has been added to it.

Adding that crap-ass badge to a true cal-looker is like tattooing ASSHOLE in George Bush's forhead.

Nah... I don't agree... somehow that tattoo wouldn't prevent him from beeing an ASSHOLE... as in the case with the badge on a looker  Grin

I agree that Cal-Look emblem is very bad. But how often do you see those now. I think that Eyelids is bader because many do have them here in Norway. Its just the calookers who dont have them.

But i can destroy emblems too.  Just bring them to me Mango

Zack, you need to swap the clear dist cap for a red clear one, matching wires and don't forget the red plastic finned inserts for the pulley and around the generator!

...after a while of thinking I came to a conclusion:
The "Cal Look" badge also tends to be my favourite  "no-go"!

As mentioned, this little item includes something like a "paradoxon"-Saying "Cal look", adding chrome & weight, mostly being found on cars that are everything else but a Cal look car  Grin

Like this teenager I saw the other day wearing a truckers hat with "I'm So Cool" airbrushed on it.

If you're truly cool, would you need to wear a hat saying that you were cool? Roll Eyes

No! You'd be too cool to wear it.

So by wearing it you're proving how much cool you're lacking.  Grin

for some strange reason there seems to be a fairly prominent section of the vw community here in the UK that regard the RX exhaust as a desirable item???

still, we drink a lot in the UK and drug use is pretty popular too. Cheesy
