Always liked the early Z cars. Straight six, IRS rear, etc.

hard to top this one, in terms of beauty, raw power, and auditory effects.

90hp/liter 3.9 liter V12 shoehorned behind cabin, rearview mirror filled with 4 IDA3C Webers, almost no muffling, spine-chilling Bertone, thigh-high bodywork, all in 1970. The SV, in my opinion was and still is the ultimate Italian exotic. You can have those new "German" Lamborghinis.

Ten thumbs up for your choice Frank! A fantastic car! If I could add two more things it would be 4 motion and a chip. Only negative thing is that a Multivan with these specs would cost around 800 000 Nkr / 100 000 EUR / 150 000 USD in Norway due to our taxes.

Wow, that's the price of a 911... but i guess you can't fit 3m³ of concrete in a 911...

510s are bad. I have seen some slick ones with modern turbocharged nissan motors, but a L20 truck motor with DCOEs would also be very cool.

I have seen quite a few early R32s on the street the last few days. The exhaust note is spine tingling.
A new one would be killer as well.

Ferrari 365BB, the orginal 4.4 liter version....
designed by Pininfarina in direct response to Lamborghini Countach, motor was "boxer" flat 12, based on Ferrari's successful (@ the time) Formula 1 flat 12's, but same displacement as "Daytona" V12, and fed by 4 Weber 40-IDF3C carbs. Timing belt replaced chains. In some ways, the Boxer was the "follow-up" response to the Miura, really the first roadgoing midengined 12-cyl monster. In my opinion, the Boxer was the best looking Ferrari from 1973 to date. Somewhere along the lines Pininfarina lost the magic and ended up squaring corners off and punching cheese-grater vents all over the poor cars. The Boxer was low, wide, hulking, muscular, yet graceful. 380hp @ 7800rpm, 0-60 in just under 6 sec, 178mph....   Wink

How about some customs? Three of my all time favorites.

Cadzilla is probably my favorite even if I hate the new interior the current owner installed.

I have always wanted to do a car like this one, The Matranga 40 Merc custom:

Ive seen this Delahaye twice in person, and it would still stop me in my tracks. Gorgeous car. Last time I saw it, it was wearing blackwall tires and seemed to be hovering over the ground... the size and the grandeur cant be explained, it must be seen. Figoni was the best of the coachbuilders!
