Where did you get those boards, Danny? The WW ones I put on AssHull's ride fit nicely.

awesome job danny, great fabbing once again!
i got my stainless steel running boards from a german supplier, can't remember the name, but they set me back 250 EUR a few years ago. on the other hand they made a notable difference from the moment i mounted them.

Nice fit danny...Does the running board rubber fit it ...?...I know I've seen some rubber that seems to be longer than the running board itself..?

Ya, I got lucky and the rubber mat is a little long, I am going to give them about a 1/2 border and paint the running board ends body color. The reason is hopefully the gap between fender and runningboard will show up better, Kinda like a 35-37 ford coupe

And did a little work on the stock wheel, Cut bottom ring off on the band saw and then filed the thumb pads on ends to the same shape as chrome strips on dash and polished and then painted everything white to match.

Outstanding work as usual! But seems like you got "shrinkage" on the running boards... not the look you were shooting for I guess?

Hi Danny

I've been looking at the mod you did to the pan (removable tunnel section). I've started building my new project and have been thinking about adding a similar mod but was wondering if you lost much torsional strength when doing this? I've a spare pan that I've taken the complete lower panel off to use for spare sections, right from front to the rear of the frame horms and the remaining tunnel section is extremely flimsy now (although it does not have pan sections in it and, as I say it's the complete panel rather than removing part of it as you did).

Thanks Paul
