Wow - you`re still playing around with that T4 stuff.  Wink

I hope you get it done for the 2008 season and that you will take your car with you to SCC - this is for sure a monster I want to see and hear. Good luck with the rest of the work!

Type 4 is a very very strong engine so why not still play with it Wink

Did you get a 300 flow on the intake ? Who did the flow testing ?

Total length is 127,5mm and 34mm of them goes in the block
cylinders = AA and piston is JE 432g

Elnef, do you have a Equilizer pulley machined for T4 ? (I bought one for the same purpose.) Plus, what cooling system do You use on this project ? (I'm gonna use a very old/new DTM from Joe Locicero).

I dont mind saying this in public: Building the engine was a task with quite a few obsticles. But John and friends just kept on trying until it was in the bag. And that header is a work of its own. I´m impressed.

I´m looking forward to see what numbers you can get out of it, both on the rolls and on the track.

- For some reason the old ACDC song "THUNDER" comes into mind Roll Eyes

Did it break on the #4 exhaust lifter?There are some clearence problem on that one when you use type 1 lifters.

No on number 2 intake
We did make the clearence for #4 exhaust lifter when we fit the bushing

I have order a new cam and lifter this time both from web cam hope this will solve the problem

what brand was your cam and what did you do ?

How much clearence do you have ?
I have a little over 1mm from the back side of the lifter to the bushing

any one else who have any ide what was going wrong with my lifter ?
I have looking and looking and ended up with it must have been a bad lifter

Oh goodmorning  Smiley you talk about cam clearence yes we also did this
I was thinking/reply about lifter clearence in the block and between lifter and bushing
