Found this place near Chertsey in Surrey while cruising and taking some shots.

Genius place for a Cal-Look meet Wink

Forgive me for the B & W treatment, I am doing a photography A-Level at the moment! all film and darkrooms!

Cheers guys, I am only a few months into my course, I have a lot to learn!

My 1st project a day in the life @ "Wolfsburg Performance" (Ian Clark) and "Paint By Numbers" (Angus) . . .

Well they said to choose something you are passionate about and my bug wouldn't exist without them!

I have to confess though, these pics are digital, Canon EOS 300D.

I have plenty of shots on film too and the negatives/contact sheets are looking promising! - using a Canon EOS 3, or Mamiya C330-s (medium format) and Ilford HP5+ at 400 or pushed to 800 and 1600!!

Have had some great days ripping up the roads in my bug and taking pictures!

Got a full day in the darkroom on Saturday so fingers crossed!

Filters . . . erm!!!

Looking forward to shooting some nice B & W shots at Bug In this year!

Say cheese!

Some more shots, bought myself a film scanner so these are proper B&W film Grin

Nothing beats a fine art print, but being able to scan my negs is pretty sweet!

Nice pictures, Steve. I am enrolled in a beginner B&W photo course this semester and I was also driving around in my beetle this afternoon with my 35mm SLR.

yes it was a nice car. i like the look of it very much. only saw it in magazines

say, what scanner did you buy. i really want one but haven't dug into it yet. i also need a digital camera (Nikon) as i the only digital camera i have is a small thing that apparently doesn't seem to be able to focus. but i will post some pics later of a trip i have done a couple years ago, later

Hey Nicolas,

I bought an Epson 4490 - pretty old now I think, but cheap and works very well!

Sorry Sarge, but it can easily be explained...It's not down to me, you asked for a fry up, and, as everyone know, this is the downside!

Screw that heart hype...that's what red wine's for, right?? Grin  Saturday's, the wife and I do The Red Hill Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga.  The cook liked us and would often "double-up" the meat...8 slices of bacon instead of 4, two sausage paties instead of one.  After dining there for a while, you start to remember faces...one was a large older guy (no cracks here Roll Eyes) who sat at the counter in the same seat every Saturday.  One weekend, we went in and he wasn't there but his full breakfast was...had a heart attack and died that same morning (the cook made him breakfast in his honor).  I looked at what was on his plate...a mirror image of what I was grazing on.  On a sad note, the cook was murdered a few months later by his girlfriend, so now I'm back on standard rations  Sad
