I'm a Red Sox fan when they are in town. I'm a Mets fan when they are in town. I'm a Cubs fan when they are in town.
The rest of the season I'm an A's fan.
I never got into football. I went to a Raiders game ONCE! No mas!
Worst experience of my life. My legs hurt cause everyone stands the entire game and we're talking a stadium full of mouth breathers and the Raiders lost and I spent the whole Bart ride home consoling a drunk Mexican crying about the defeat.
No thank you!

I was way into Football until that biatch Georgia Fronteire screwed all of the LA/OC Rams fans in the butt. Never enjoyed NFL since then... but I'm not bitter... much!

I used to live baseball when I was a kid. Then they had that stupid strike and I completely lost interest. Couple years ago I found out all my hero's from that time were all jacked up on steriods. Ive got no love for baseball.

What the hell are sports? The ONLY sport that matters in my life is eating food. I'm a pro at it and it's also a great way to stay in shape. Everything else is just life. It's all about eating mass quantities of Mex, Italian, & Asian foods. Mex and sushi being my faves. When not eating... hitting the skateparks with my sons (yes, I still skateboard... been at it since I was 10), surfing (since 14), or when I wanna relax... ocean fishing. None of those are sports, because I don't compete in any of 'em.

Sports = boring.

Food = quite filling.

HA! Good one, Rick. But I'll pass... someone would have to buy me a late '60s VW Bug for me to attend a sports event.

To each their own.

allow me to bring this completely off-topic, by saying that skating has become a sport... been skating since 89 myself and now things have changed. for the better or for worse, i really don't care. but skaters are endorsed like baseballplayers by mountain dew and mc donalds and what not.

but i know what you mean.

Sadly, you're right. But for me... it's NOT. Thank God. I'm in that industry and I have see it all day. Which, actually, is no big deal because it's not me doing that. To each their own... if someone wants to make a living doing something that they enjoy and/or are good at, COOL. Personally, I'd rather keep the two apart.

there is great sushi at the Mariner's games!!!  Mojo Rising!

Ichiro packs the stand with Japanese fans!

Used to be a place to get Sushi at Angel Stadium but I'm not sure it's there anymore... I think it became the Hooters. I guess they traded fins for wings!

I've never been much of sports fan, but living in Denver, it was easy to get caught up in the playoffs and world series last year. I might acually watch a little bit this year.

I once got an outfielder from the Arizona Diamondbacks to give me the middle finger after a good 20 minutes of relentless heckling.
I was really proud.  Tongue

Talking of baseball I have 2 cousins that are with the San Diego Padres. One is the closing pitcher and the other 2nd base coach so when I am in Ca I get to see the games in the family section with very good free tickets!! Bernard

I understand that Petco Field is very nice to... We're thinking about going down there to catch a game.

Trevor Hoffman is the closing pitcher and his brother Glen Hoffman (who used to play for the Red Sox) is the 3rd base coach. Unfortunatley they are not into cars!! Their mother is English but has lived in the Ca for some years. Bernard
