Last night, we go with friends in a wood to find an Old Bug we heard some days ago.
It's always fun to make such discovery
With the VIN I find that's it is a split from june 1950.
We hoped find a patina bug
But woods in Belgium are really not a good place to keep a 58 years old bug in good state, especially when it sat there for at least 25 years
This is me on the right, at the driver place

Man, that is TOTALLY saveable.
I believe the correct term is "I'd roll that".
But yeh, split section, dash, rear body mounts? boot floor? It looks like it was in good condition when it was left there!

Yes, we think also that it was in good condition. No traces of accidents.

Looks like the very rare 'flat roof version'.
